Ben is a man driven by purpose to rescue struggling youths from the streets, just as someone once did for him. One day, he encounters Nelo, a tough, street-smart tomboy whom he mistakes for a boy. Impressed by her resilience and work ethic and believing she’s in need of direction, he offers her a place to stay when he noticed she battles bet addiction and harsh realities of street life.
